Royal Rumble News! Who's going to WrestleMania? Sheamus returning, more!

WWE CEO Alan Snyder has announced that he is entering himself in the Royal Rumble. What entry number he will be is yet to be determined. So far here is the confirmed list of Royal Rumble participants.

- Matthew Ehlert
- Alan Snyder
- Chris Coleman
- CM Punk
- Sting
- Eellis

WWE has released the following poster, hyping Sheamus' return. I have received word that Sheamus will be returning as a heel and may be even one of the top heels in WWE again.

Scott Hall has officially been released of his WWE contract as of February 28. There were talks of renewing his contract into a WrestleMania retirement match but creative seemed uninterested in the idea and passed on it. Scott Hall has already been booked for post-WWE bookings and appearances.

John Cena has been spotted on the set of Snyder 3. This fuels the speculation and rumors of him returning back to the main WWE roster soon. Many feel like Cena's stint in ECW is played out and is only being dragged along now. Creative is going on the idea of having him return as a face as that seems to be the role Cena plays best.

Triple H's recent heel turn was a long discussed topic between creative and WWE CEO Alan Snyder. My sources tell me that this heel turn will eventually lead to a feud between Matthew Ehlert and Triple H that could conclude at WrestleMania.

Batista is now the longest World Champion, reigning at over 130 days, beating out The Big Show's reign. Batista's reign went longer than expected, but reception to the reign and the quality of his recent matches have been good.

WWE is giving Seth Rollins a mini push as a face. Where this will lead remains to be seen but there have been talks of putting him in the hunt for the IC Title.

WWE is looking into the idea of taping live events and airing them on the WWE Network. They recently uploaded footage of Kurt Angle making an return at a live event.

Rey Mysterio has been in heated contract negotiations with Alan Snyder. Alan is fighting to extend Rey's contract past WrestleMania but Rey seems to be against the idea as he feels no need for his character to go on past WrestleMania. Alan intends to use Rey as a veteran figure in the tag division and this is what creative is pushing for.

WWE is setting up for a CM Punk face turn in the future. What this means is watch what Punk does on TV from now on. The turn is expected to happen at the Rumble or around that time.

There have been heavy talks for a Jeff Hardy push next season. Creative feels that there needs to be some new reateable guys on top and they see that in Hardy.

I have received word that Randy Orton is wrapping up his run with WWE and may become a full-on part timer soon. Though there have been discussions backstage of giving Orton another big run but those seem unlikely.

There have been talks of having Eellis take on one of the Eellistopia members at WrestleMania. This member most likely seems to be Bobby Lashley who just had a big face turn. Currently WrestleMania is Bobby Lashley's last night with the company but talks of extending his contract past SummerSlam are going on as of this writing.

Ryan Nathen is already locked to be a key role in this years WrestleMania and that has been the plan since last summer. WWE is still pushing forward with Ryan Nathen as the top heel in the WWE, and there have been talks of him possibly dethroning Batista at WrestleMania but those can change.

With only under 70 days left in the current Season Five, here is a list of what some of the top stars will be doing during the off-season.

- The ECW roster will be on the road for most of May and the first week of June. Mostly because their last pay per view lands on the first Wednesday of the off-season and is the first official off-season pay per view. After that, they will be taping a few episodes that are intended to air in August should ECW be renewed for a second season.
- Eellis will be in LA doing voice work for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
- CM Punk, along with most of the RAW crew, will be appearing at off-season events but for the most part will be off the road.
- The NXT roster will be in Florida taping more episodes of NXT. They will be off the road in July as thats when those taped episodes will air.
- Batista's contract is expected to expire on the first day of the off-season. He will be down at WWE Headquarters to record some things for the WWE Network, and will be down at WWE Studios to film an undisclosed role for the Snyder TV show.
- Alan Snyder will be busy all off-season. He will be doing promotional work for Snyder 3, along with appearing at NXT events and filming new content for the WWE Network. He will also be busy promoting the off-season events and filming at the WWE Studios.
- Most of the roster will be called down to Cambridge, UK in late June for the next overseas off-season pay per view.

Here are the WWE live event results for January 28, 2015:

- Ryan Nathen defeated Jon Moxley in an IC Title match.
- Bobby Lashley and MVP defeated Big E Langston and Mark Henry.
