WWE Rumors 10/30/17: WRESTLEMANIA location revealed! New RAW intro, returns, contract disputes, and more!

My sources tell me that Aaron Snyder is indeed in contract negotiations again with WWE. Rumors have been swirling for months on when the Prodigal Son would return to the squared circle, and it appears that it won't be too long from now. The biggest match and feud being discussed for Aaron's return is a match against current WWE Champion Hayden. The two long-time rivals (but, oddly enough, best friends outside of wrestling) will settle the score after Aaron defeated Hayden for the WWE Championship originally back in 2015. We here at the rumor site are excited for Aaron's return to the ring. It's been a long time coming.

Despite being World Heavyweight Champion now, Chris Jericho is still in intense contract talks with Alan Snyder. Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling have both put in intense bids for Chris Jericho. It should be interesting to see where this leads to but Alan is determined to keep Jericho.

Speaking of Alan, it appears that the legend may be taking a step back to the upper midcard for a good portion of the season. An IC Title run has been discussed, along with possible feuds against the likes of Conor McGregor, Roman Reigns, Batista, and more.

Zack Poe has been sponsored by the New England Patriots. He was spotted hanging with the Superbowl Champions. Poe is good friends with Tom Brady.

Shelton Benjamin and Carlito have been in contract talks with the WWE and it is more than likely that they will be signed on as well. Where each of them will go is a mystery, but it's even being discussed that they could be a tag team.

Brock Lesnar appeared on Chris Coleman's podcast to talk about WWE, politics, and other things. Lesnar said on the podcast that he is looking for another run in the UFC and has been in talks with Dana White.

Roman Reigns received high praise for his performance at Ground Zero. Management is looking into a possible Roman Reigns push. Alas, plans haven't changed for Roman and Dean to continue their program with Seth Rollins later in the season.

Unfortunately, while WWE tried to talk out with Paul Star to have discussions about a return, the discussions have fallen through and it looks like Star won't be returning, just as we originally reported. These rival rumor sites always trying to pick up the scoop but failing, smh.

CM Punk's return is currently the most watched clip on the WWE Network since Seth Rollins' WWE title win at WrestleMania. Punk's return was kept under wraps and nobody knew about it besides CM Punk, the referee, and Alan Snyder.

Rumor has it that the brand split is returning to the WWE, especially now with Chris Jericho's cash-in last night. Since his briefcase was only for the World Heavyweight Championship, the titles are now once again, split. Smackdown and RAW will have different rosters like before, with their own champions. This could make for a very interesting build up for both shows, leading up to certain cross-brand shows or PPV's. One question still remains. Which show will prevail? Which show will be superior? RAW? Or Smackdown? There have been several ideal general managers for the role. Including Ric Flair, Theodore Long, Chad Snyder, and even Maven Huffman. This has also led to a minor change in WWE creative which could lead to major changes onscreen.

WrestleMania, the show of shows, is returning to Las Vegas in 2018 for WrestleMania Eight. Alan Snyder made the official announcement at a press conference featuring several other WWE wrestlers. Alan Snyder also announced that President Donald Trump has already signed on to make an appearance at WrestleMania. What his role will be remains to be seen.
John Cena makes an appearance at the press conference to introduce Alan Snyder.
Batista cut an in-character promo at the event. He had a stare-off with Big Show which ended in Big Show chokeslamming Batista off the stage to a thunderous pop.
Anthony Chandler revealed they are remodeling Caesar's Palace to fit 100,000+ seats.
Alan led the press conference and had a good time with the audience and their questions.
Check out the official intro for Season Eight of Tuesday Night RAW.

WWE Rumors/News 10/25/17: Eellis continues to tease return, top merchandise sellers, Vince McMahon on RAW next week

Seth Rollins has begun his "Road to Recovery" and is back to the gym. Estimates have Rollins being out for up to six months, but it appears Rollins is trying to push the time table up and come back even sooner. Best of luck to him!

Sasha Banks contract with the WWE was seemingly renewed last night after week-long negotiations. When Sasha and the Vixens brand in general will return is still a mystery, but Alan is expected to make an announcement about it next month.

It appears that Vince McMahon will be making his return to WWE TV well before the Slammy Awards. One of our reporters went to Lockhart Stadium in Florida and was told that Vince McMahon is going to be advertised to appear on next week's RAW show. After reaching out for further detail, I've learned he will be involved in a few segments throughout the night, including a big one with "Psycho" Matthew Ehlert.

Former European Champion Eellis posted this picture with no caption on Twitter, fueling speculation about his WWE return. We also received word that Eellis was backstage at a recent WWE event in Canada and talks went down between himself, Alan Snyder, and Anthony Chandler. Our source tells us that Eellis will most likely be returning to the RAW brand.

Hayden Storms, Saxby, Washington, whatever his name is has donated money to several hurricane relief efforts.

Latest update on Aaron Snyder is that he may be returning in January of 2018 to the WWE. The plan seems to be to have a feud with Hayden, and Aaron coming back as a big baby face to take on the hero killer.

CM Punk also won't be back in the WWE until 2018. The current month is unknown, but estimates say that he won't make his return until Royal Rumble season. There have been talks of having CM Punk return for another Rumble win and a WrestleMania match against the Undisputed Champion. Other Rumble winners have been discussed, but Punk's name keeps popping up. We wish CM Punk a speedy recovery.

Zack Poe has wrestled his final match in the Mexican wrestling promotion AAA, wrapping up his best of three feud with Mil Muertes. Zack has moved back to the US with Eve, buying property in Tennessee.

Maven has officially retired from in-ring performances and is now signed onto WWE as a road agent, producer, and trainer. Maven will start at the performance center, lead by Shawn Michaels, next week.

Speaking of the Heartbreak Kid, we have sources close to us that say HBK may be making an in-ring return soon. Even more exciting is that a full-on DX reunion could be in the works.

Chris Jericho could be on his way out of the WWE soon. The belief is that there isn't much else for Jericho to do at the moment, but a tag team with Eli Drake has been discussed. Jericho is currently in intense negotiations with Alan Snyder. He also has an open contract offer from New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Ryan Nathen is headed back to the main event title scene very, very soon. Ryan is seen as WWE's "elite" class and remains one of their top golden boys. Ryan recently signed a 7 year, 7 million dollars a year contract with the WWE. Alan has also brought back the pay-per-view extra pay, which Vince McMahon terminated when the WWE Network first began.

With the return of Global Force on last weeks SmackDown, talks about a feud with both The Shield and the New Shield have been discussed, as well as introducing a new "Trio Title" in the WWE, with Global Force being the first champions. More news on that next time.

Despite being out of action and off of WWE TV in general for the of October, Anthony Chandler is still the top merchandise seller for the month. Anthony's hoodie, bow, and quiver outfit is a hot seller. The rest of the list is as follows:

1. Anthony Chandler (Change: Same as last month) (Hoodie outfit set)
2. Seth Rollins (Change: Same as last month) (Doomsday Slayer shirt)
3. Alan Snyder (Change: Up 1 spot from last month) (30 Years of Doom shirt)
4. CM Punk (Change: Down 1 spot from last month) (Straight Edge shirt)
5. Ryan Nathen (Change: N/A last month) (The King Is Back shirt)
6. Hayden Saxby (Change: Up 2 from last month)
7. Dolph Ziggler (Change: Down 1 from last month) (King of the Ring shirt)
8. Kurt Angle (Change: Down 1 from last month) (GOAT shirt)
9. "Psycho" Matthew Ehlert (Change: Up 1 from last month) (Psycho Mask)
10. Eli Drake (Change: N/A from last month) ('Dummy' button)

WWE Rumors/News 10/5/17: Wrestlers comment on #TakeAKnee, Eellis speaks, Alan going to Vegas, Zack Poe Twitter Exchange, More

Former WWE wrestler and actor for 'The Flash' Jake Carter was asked about his thoughts on the current NFL controversy during a skiing retreat this past weekend. He was also asked whether WWE should begin to "take a knee". Here's what he said.
"While American athletes certainly have a right to protest during the US National Anthem, I will not be taking a knee along with them. In Canada, pride and respect to the flag is very important. My uncle, along with a few of my friends, have defended the great country of Canada and I would never kneel in dishonor to what they've given up. So, I don't think I'd be one of the people that would take part in that. As for WWE, please remember that Alan Snyder is a business man before anything, and he's a registered Republican. [Laughs] So, no, I don't think he's going to allow that in WWE as well."

Fellow actor and former WWE wrestler Aaron Snyder tweeted Carter's interview and called him a "Great Canadian Hero" and told Jake that he was the "cutest Canadian alive". We're actually not sure why he added that, or felt it was relevant, but this is Aaron we're talking about. Aaron also added that he would never take a knee and dishonor the American flag, wondering what people were protesting to begin with. He also reminded everyone that the flag that existed in the 1800's is not the same flag we have nowadays.

Speaking of Aaron, he also got into a Twitter scuffle that included Zack Poe and Ashley Snyder.

All's fair in war.

Alan Snyder will be missing the rest of the week's WWE events as he is headed out to Las Vegas to meet with families of the victims of the recent mass shooting. Alan has vowed to donate a significant amount of money to charity efforts.

Conor McGregor is currently scheduled to have a feud with The Big Show for the Ground Zero Pay Per View, putting him in the run for the Intercontinental Championship. After which, Conor will take a few weeks off to prepare for his highly anticipated rematch against Roger Klint at UFC 218 in December.  Alan has allowed Conor free reign over his own contract and flexibility with his dates, and Conor's already earning a lot more than most on the roster.

Batista will make an appearance on SmackDown and is expected to enter the already intense WWE Title scene along with Kurt Angle. Things are heating up as there are talks of having a huge multi-man match including Seth Rollins, Hayden Storms, Alan Snyder, Chris Jericho, Batista, Kurt Angle, and possibly even more guys. WWE is looking to book quite an intense war for the Undisputed Championship.

Paul Star was backstage at last night's RAW event. He was only backstage to catch up with some old friends and no talks of a return took place. It's been almost a full year since Paul Star has appeared in a WWE ring. Original plans called for Star to make his return at last season's WrestleMania and lay out "Psycho" Matthew, beginning their highly anticipated feud. However, that wasn't the case, as Star was released from his WWE contract shortly before WrestleMania.

After his match with Matthew in the main event of SummerSlam, our sources tell us that Anthony Chandler is taking significant time off of WWE TV. His wife, Ashley Snyder, recently announced that she was pregnant with triplets, and it appears that Anthony wants to be by his wife's side every step of the way. No word on how long the COO of the WWE will be out of action, however, he will apparently still be working behind the scenes with his father in-law, Alan. Regardless, we wish Anthony and Ashley all the best in starting their family. Mazel tov!

Uh... our sources tell us that former US President George W. Bush will make an appearance at the Slammy Awards. Why? We're... not even sure ourselves, but, yeah, that's happening apparently!

Sources tell us that there is serious consideration for a Hayden Storms Undisputed Championship reign. Hours after SummerSlam concluded, Hayden extended his current WWE contract to run through 2020. Alan and Hayden apparently remained backstage in Alan's office going over the details of the contract while having a few bottles. The details of that contract included a guaranteed World Title in the near future. Also, Hayden will be able to take days off on overseas tours if he chooses to.

Former European Champion Eellis recently sat down for a radio interview. He discussed various things, like his enthusiasm for Sonic Forces, his well-known love for Nintendo's Fire Emblem franchise, what he's been up to recently, his favorite sports, and giving his support for US President Donald Trump. Most interestingly though, Eellis talked about a return to WWE.

"Yeah, I've talked about that. I've been talking to Anthony, to Alan, recently. I'm not saying it's a done deal but it's certainly getting there. As you know, I had an injury that pretty much made my future in wrestling uncertain, and I just recently got cleared to compete. So, Alan's cautious, he wants me to go through test, get cleared by his doctors. Safety's a priority, so I see how it is. But I do miss being in that ring, I miss slaying it on the mic, I miss all of it. After my injury, I had time to do some soul searching and I just can't walk away from wrestling."
We could be seeing Eellistopia open it's doors again real soon.

10 Most Iconic Wrestlers of the Last 7 Years

With the seventh season of WWE coming to a close, we look at ten (not top ten) of the most influential and iconic wrestlers of the last 7 seasons.

CM Punk

Who better to kick us off than the voice of the voiceless himself, CM Punk? For a few years, after his epic pipebomb in 2011, CM Punk was soon lost in the fray. He tried to claim a spot at the top for a while. After repeated failed attempts (WrestleMania III) at getting a World Title shot, he finally broke out in early Season 4 after an impressive feud with Goldust. CM Punk finally burst into the upper mid-card, and even got a few main event matches with Big Show. Punk found himself in a team with Chris Coleman in the middle of the NWO invasion, and soon, Punk cemented his potetional as a main event player after he defeated Triple H at WrestleMania IV. In Season Five, Punk had arguably the best Intercontinental Championship reign (besides Seth Rollins) and he set a new standard for future intercontinental champions. At WrestleMania V, he pulled off another huge win, overcoming the BEAST, Brock Lesnar. The next year, Punk stoned his legacy when he won the Royal Rumble match and dethroned World Champion Ryan Nathen at WrestleMania VI. CM Punk is literally the gold standard for success and "the rise" to the top.
Matthew Ehlert

Matthew Ehlert was destined for greatness from the start. After debuting as Jack Swagger's right-hand, Matthew forged his own path after kicking off an impressive win-streak and capturing the IC Title at WrestleMania III. In Season 4, he climbed the ranks of the mid-card before he won the Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania IV. In Season Five, he successfully cashed in the briefcase only to suffer a tragic family loss, being forced to take time off. Destiny can be postponed but never stopped. Matthew came back in a furry, a hunt for the WWE Championship. He mowed his way through Triple H at WM V, fought the New Corp, and eventually faced his worst enemy, his own son. Matthew overcame all the odds to finally capture the WWE Championship at WrestleMania VI. A three year journey came to an iconic close, going full circle. However, in the midst of the battle with Exodus, we would never see Matthew Ehlert again. A hero, missing in action. However, he's planted his history in the WWE and has inspired millions around the world.

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler has become a household name in all his years as a WWE wrestler. He became the first to hold the IC and US Championships at the same time, did it AGAIN at WrestleMania IV, and was the longest reigning United States Champion in WWE history. He has a flurry of five star matches under his belt, and big victories to go with them. He's defeated the likes of Batista, Alan Snyder, Dean Ambrose, Rush, and most recently, Shawn Michaels, effectively crowning himself the new Mr. WrestleMania. Dolph Ziggler is no stranger to the main event. At WrestleMania II, he took on Alan inside a Hell in a Cell. But more notably, at WrestleMania VI, he competed in a huge triple threat match with Matthew Ehlert and AJ Styles. Now, more than ever, the WWE Title is in Ziggler's sights. He's reaching for the crown, his throne is so close that he can taste it. After a huge win over Shawn Michaels, Ziggler has to be in the competition for a world title. In every arena Ziggler steps in, the fans are rooting for him, the crowd is behind him, even when they're split. There's no stopping the show.

Paul Star

Paul Star captivated audiences around the world with his over-the-top style of wrestling and character. He's slayed John Cena, Alan Snyder, Brock Lesnar, Zack Poe. Almost anyone who has gotten in Paul Star's path has been knocked down. At WrestleMania VI, in the main event, Paul Star shocked the world in his most deathly act yet, dropping John Cena hundreds of feet above the ground and making Cena say... "I Quit".

Big Show

Big Show knocking out the entire RAW roster is still the greatest feat of strength in WWE history, and it hasn't been repeated or topped. Big Show dominated the scene after an explosive comeback in Season IV, and since then has been a dominant and unstoppable force in the WWE. Only few have beaten Big Show in the last few years, but the Giant is never asleep for long.

John Cena

John Cena. No words needed.

Hayden Saxby / Storms

Talk about a roller-coaster ride of a career. From his debut, Hayden was seen as main-event material. And he's built an impressive resume since his debut in 2012. Within months of his first WWE run he has gone up and beaten wrestlers on Alan Snyder's caliber, even Snyder himself. Hayden has had multiple world title runs, and an impressive win record under his belt. At WrestleMania V, he slayed the Giant Big Show. And at WrestleMania VII, Hayden pulled off one of the greatest upsets in WWE history when he pinned his cousin, Anthony Chandler, 1, 2, 3. At just the ripe age of 21, Hayden had already made his legacy in the WWE, and has become an icon.

Ryan Nathen

Because you knew he was going to be on this list. First Australian-born Royal Rumble winner, won the match in his Royal Rumble match debut, first Australian-born World Heavyweight Champion... Ryan Nathen is truly an iconic, in less than 2 years he's taken down legends and claimed THE WORLD. A 2 year undefeated streak may be gone, but Ryan STILL hasn't been pinned in a WWE ring. Who will be the first... if anyone?

Anthony Chandler

The leader of a revolution, the man who took down Exodus, the highest power of the WWE. Anthony Chandler, from his beginnings, had a target on his back. Truthfully, he made a name for himself the moment he stepped into WWE! In Season 3, he led his stable to capturing all 3 World Titles, main evented WrestleMania, and captivated audiences whether they loved him or hated him. In Season IV, although he didn't get much in the way of victories, Anthony put on iconic matches. It wasn't until the end of season five when Anthony came back to the forefront, once again finding himself leading a rebellion against Alan Snyder. Alan Snyder's dangerous regime, the New Corp, was leading WWE to it's own demise. Despite what Alan believed, he was killing his own company. Anthony saw this, he tried to stop it, but he was beaten by the sheer numbers game of Alan's forces. After a crushing defeat, Anthony disappeared from the public eye for months... until he came back, changed and scarred by Paul Star, being an agent of Exodus. It took his own cousin, Omega, to snap him back to reality. Finally, in Season Six, Anthony knew what he had to do. He fought against the single greatest hostile takeover in WWE history, the reign of Exodus. And at Revolution in 2016, Anthony Chandler killed Paul Star and destroyed Exodus. Wherever you go, Anthony Chandler is in the wrestling discussion. Anthony Chandler is already an icon among his peers, a future Hall of Famer.

Alan Snyder

Because he's the greatest of all time, period. Objectively, no one has done what Alan has done in the WWE, no one has matched his accomplishments. You know them, I know them, so there's no question as to why we should end this with Alan Snyder. The man who ended the Undertaker's streak, a record-tying Royal Rumble winner, the first and only active WWE wrestler to hold titles from NJPW, the first man to hold the IWGP Heavyweight and WWE Championships at the same time. The list goes on, and on, and on. In basketball, there's Michael Jordan. In boxing, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson. In football, Tom Brady. In wrestling, it's Alan Snyder.
