Update on Alan Snyder, CM Punk's future, Jeff Hardy, Scott Hall, and more!

Alan Snyder is currently headed to Ohio to shoot two films back-to-back, Snyder 3, and an unknown Snyder spin-off film. He was written off TV weeks ago by his son, Aaron, who is also getting a new push. Alan also requested this time off to heal from some injuries he's been fighting through, mostly notably the ones he suffered at No Way Out and the RAW after. Alan is expected to be back somewhere between Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
Brucie's opinion: Knowing Alan, he'll probably rush this thing and be back by February. But it's a good thing he's taking time off, he's really been doing some heavy work over the past few years. It was also a good way to start the Aaron push, as I always felt the only reason Aaron didn't break through at first was because of Alan being so active.

Jeff Hardy recently returned to WWE and I've gotten word that he's been signed to a contract that extends past WrestleMania. Current plans for him from what I hear are nothing big but the main plan being discussed is to reunite him with Matt and add them to the tag team division.
Brucie's opinion: It's good to see Hardy back. Sure, he's getting older, but he can still go with the best after seeing his recent indy work.

Jerry Lawler and Mick Foley are working on a new WWE Comic book series, titled "WWE Heroes". The first five issues will introduce the main characters of the comic, and here are the main characters set to appear. Plot details soon to follow:

  • Chris Jericho - The Mayor of the corrupt Slam City.
  • Triple H - Chris Jericho's right hand man, carrying out all his operations.
  • Zack Poe - The commissioner of the Police, who will start a rebellion against Jericho's cabinet.
  • Alan Snyder - The "Silent Guardian" of Slam City, fighting the ever rising crime rate.
  •  Anthony Chandler - Zack Poe's best friend, secretly helping him form the rebellion.
  • CM Punk - Exiled from the city by Jericho, Punk is secretly sabotaging Jericho's plans.
  • Eellis - The District Attorney currently being forced to do Jericho's bidding.

CM Punk, the current IC Champion and the latest Paul Heyman guy, is expected to get a good push as the top mid-carder in the coming months. He is expected to carry the IC Championship all the way into Royal Rumble season or around that time. WWE feels CM Punk can be one of their top heels along with Coleman and Lesnar.
Bruce's opinion: GOOD FOR Punk, man. It's good to see him finally getting a push.

Scott Hall's current plans to have him around until WrestleMania, which will be the match he loses and ultimately retires. Scott Hall is believed to be having the time of his life in his current run.

WWE Studios has released new plot information on Snyder 3. Here is as follows:

"After the Paradise, Ohio nukings, millions have died and millions more have lost important family members. After failure to stop Snyder, Agent Rush has sent himself into exile and has not been heard from in months. The entire state of Ohio has fallen into anarchy and has been officially ruled by the President of the United States as a "No Mans Land" and is no longer apart of the United States. The people still in the state of Ohio are at a civil war with themselves, the Police, and other authorities. Crime rates are at an all time high as Snyder sightings start to arise again. Snyder is also being stalked by his older brother, Antonio. The war between these two rages on as Antonio believes he was born and sent by God to destroy and put an end to Snyder."

Former WWE wrestler Zack Poe has announced that he has signed a contract with Impact Wrestling. He is set to debut on the October 1st, 2014 edition of Impact Wrestling. I have no idea what the plans for him there are as I'm a rumor guy for WWE, not TNA, so stop asking.
My opinion: Well, good for Poe. TNA isn't really the best option in my opinion because the ratings have sure dropped since guys like Coleman and Star left. But who knows, Poe could bring in big ratings for Impact. Just don't expect ME to tune in.

After his match against Kane on RAW and the recent role as Eellis' bodyguard, WWE will be using Mark Henry much more. A WWE title feud has been discussed, along with a tag team with either Eellis or Regal in the near future. Mark Henry also trained Eellis and got him into the WWE.
